On May 7, 2008 hundreds of grandparents and other relatives raising children gathered at the U.S. Capitol to highlight their important role in raising children and the help they need from family, friends, their communities, states, national organizations and agencies and elected officials.
A big thanks to eveyone who made this year's GrandRally such a success!
"I have been honored to be able to attend one GrandRally but they are the best. They bring alot of grandparents together, and we get to unite and talk and meet and know that we are not the only ones out there doing this. It's exciting, empowering and get to meet grandparetns from all over the country." - Carolyn, Florida
"Attending the GrandRally is not only about sharing and advocacy but about making new friends, having fun, and bonding with those who share a common way of life. It is a great experiance from beginning to end. It's our CELEBRATION!!!" - Opal, Maryland
