Participate in A Wish for the Holidays Letter Writing Campaign to Keep Children with their Families
Today, 5.5 million children live with the fear that a parent could be deported,
and these policies threaten the fabric of all of our communities. The National Domestic Workers Alliance and the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum launched A Wish for the Holidays letter writing campaign, hoping to send 20,000 letters from children to Congress expressing one shared wish: The end of deportations so that all families and communities can stay together. Visit www.WeBelongTogether.org/wish to find age-appropriate activities to spark letter-writing, background information to help adults explain these issues to children, and more instructions on how to participate.
